Day 1: Flight to Greenland

Overnight stay in a B&B or hotel – Meals on your own during flights

We leave France on our first flight to Copenhagen. Then a second flight takes us to Narsarsuaq, the gateway to South Greenland. Once there, a boat transfer takes us to Nanortalik. We explore the town.

Day 2: Tasermiut Fjord

Overnight in a single house

A boat transfer takes us to Tasiusaq. We follow the wild coastline of South Greenland to the entrance to the Tasermiut Fjord. Our first hike in these isolated lands and settling into our accommodation.

Day 3: Tasermiut Fjord

Overnight in a single house

We reach the end of the Tasermiut fjord by boat, then start our hike around the Sermeq glacier, or hike to the foot of Ketil, the highest peak in the area with a beauty worthy of Yosemite Park.

Day 4: Itillersuaq valley

Night in camp

Today we’re off for a two-day hike through the totally unspoilt nature of the Itillersuaq valley. Granite spires tower above us on either side, and the sparsely-marked path leaves plenty for our guides to improvise.

Day 5: Itillersuaq valley

Overnight in a single house

Second day of hiking in the Itillersuaq Valley. Once we reach the end of the valley, a boat transfers us to Aappilattoq in the afternoon, the only village in the area.

Day 6: Long day boat trip to Nanortalik

Overnight in a B&B or hotel – Meals on board the boat

The first boat takes us to Tupaassat for a morning hike. Then it’s a long boat transfer to Nanortalik.

Day 7: With our guide's family

Night in camp

First, we travel by boat to the Unartoq hot springs. We then continue on to Qinngua, a totally deserted area inhabited by our guide Salik’s family of sheep breeders, to discover local life in greater depth.

Day 8: Last day with the locals

Night in hotel

We’ll enjoy the pristine Qinngua landscape on a morning hike, before discovering the farm and the daily life of the local herders. Then we return to Narsarsuaq for the flight to Copenhagen.

Day 9: End of trip

International flights

Discover the Danish capital before our return flight.

Highlights of the trip

In addition, you should take precautions to protect yourself against mosquito bites

Your Guide is also specially trained by Ifremmont to deal with these situations. He is the local medical correspondent for these doctors. We’ll ask you to create an online medical file (http://www.teleconsultationsosmam.com), which you can also use every day to take charge of your health. We’ll provide you with a code to link your file to the trip you’re about to embark on.
