Day 1: Welcome!

Night in hotel

You’ll meet at 6pm at the hotel to settle in, meet your guide and be briefed on the week’s activities.

A great program awaits you for a week in the mountains!

Day 2: Discovering the Bénés plateau

20 minutes drive – 5 hours walk – Picnic lunch – Overnight at hotel – D+ : 650 m / D- : 650 m

Today, you’ll be heading for the Bénés plateau above Sallanches. A magnificent vantage point overlooking the Mont-Blanc chain, this plateau offers a beautiful itinerary.

Between alpine pastures and forest, this outing is the perfect way to start a week of gentle hiking in the midst of magnificent scenery.

Day 3: Tour of Mont Blanc

20 min drive – 5 hours walk – Picnic lunch – Overnight at hotel – D+ : 600 m / D- : 600 m

Today’s snowshoe trek takes you to Les Contamines, on a stage of the Tour du Mont-Blanc at the gateway to Beaufortin.

Day 4: Visit to the Truc mountain pasture

20 minutes drive – 5 hours walk – Picnic lunch – Overnight at hotel – D+ : 650 m / D- : 650 m

On this fourth day, we head for the Truc mountain pasture, where the view is truly breathtaking.

It’s also an ideal hike for observing the many faces of the Mont-Blanc region, and a chance to catch a glimpse of some of its wildlife.

Day 5: Le Croisse Baulet

20 minutes’ drive – 6 hours’ walk – Picnic lunch – Overnight at hotel – D+: 600 m / D-: 600 m

A new lookout awaits you for this day in Megeve.

Le Croisse Baulet is ideal for a day’s snowshoeing with your feet in the snow.

Day 6: A finale at Les Ayères

20 min drive – 6 hours walk – D+: 600 m / D-: 600 m

One of France’s most beautiful adrets awaits you at Les Ayères, to round off this timeless week.

At the foot of the Fiz mountain range and its limestone rocks, your gaze will turn to the nearby Mont-Blanc.

At the end of the day, it’s time to say goodbye to your guide and these beautiful mountains.

Send us your registration with a copy of your passport, your postal address, telephone number and e-mail address, together with a deposit of 30% of the cost of the trip.
Also, if you wish to take out a Comfort or Comfort Multirisk cancellation insurance policy, this must be paid at the same time as the deposit when you register. You can consult our insurance contracts on our website.

ATTENTION: air fares will be maintained until 3 months before departure and may be readjusted if necessary if you book during this period.

ASSISTANCE AND SAFETY

We strongly advise you to take out assistance insurance for the duration of your trip.

We offer two different types of insurance: Comfort Cancellation and Comfort Multirisk, to be taken out when you register for your trip.

Other offers include Mondial Assistance, your own insurance company or Club Alpin Français. Check that your trekking activity is covered.

Make sure your insurance covers all medical expenses in the event of an accident.

You must make sure that you are covered for mountain rescue costs. If this is the case, you must provide us with the following information before you set off on your trek:

  • a certificate from the insurance company covering mountain rescue costs.
  • the contract number and telephone number of the assistance center

Beware of restrictive clauses in certain insurance policies (particularly those linked to Visa Premier, Gold or other cards), such as mountain insurance limited to snow activities, or altitude sickness not recognized as an illness requiring repatriation, which will be refused.

Please check the actual content of your insurance and take the necessary steps if necessary.

Health & climate

CLIMATE

Summer and winter alike, temperatures in the mountains vary with altitude, and the way they feel can be greatly affected by the intensity of the wind.

HEALTH AND VACCINES

No vaccinations required.

We strongly recommend that you are up to date with the usual vaccinations: diphtheria-tetanus-poliomyelitis, whooping cough, tuberculosis, typhoid fever, hepatitis A and B.

We recommend that you have a check-up with your dentist before you leave.

IFREMMONT

Transport and conditions

Your guide will pick up all participants from the hotel each morning. You’ll then travel by minibus to the start of the hike. In the evening, your guide will take you back to your hotel.

LUGGAGE

Your luggage is returned to the hotel each evening.

We recommend you bring your own snacks for picnics.
